What Are the Programs?

UPG Biashara is an initiative that supports entrepreneurs in their journey to turn ideas into businesses. This includes growing and strengthening existing enterprises. Biashara is a Kiswahili word for “business” and it emphasizes the fact that with this initiative UPG is supporting entrepreneurs and all those looking to create impact through business. Participants in the Biashara program can get access to financial support ranging from USD 5,000 to USD 20,000, and receive ongoing support for entrepreneurs with the Action Journey. Learn More.

UPG Sustainability Leadership trains, mobilises, and supports young people to create a more sustainable world. Launched in 2019, the UPG Sustainability Leadership program has been training young leaders from all paths of life and world regions to become champions for positive citizen leadership. To date, 1000+ new UPG Sustainability Leaders from over 100 countries have successfully completed the training and a selected number among them have been presented with an additional opportunity a FREE, complementary and immersive 1-week experience at the Hurricane Island Center for Science and Leadership in the USA. Learn More.

Rules

  1. This giveaway competition entitles one lucky winner to receive automatic entry into either the UPG Biashara or the UPG Sustainability Leadership programs. As Konseye: The Mentorship Network can nominate a winner for each program, the goal is to have a winner for the Biashara and Sustainability Leadership programs.

  2. Konseye: The Mentorship Network reserves the right not to make any allocations to either or both of the programs for the class of 2024. 

  3. Incomplete applications will be automatically disqualified. 

  4. The deadline to complete all requirements is 30 November 2023. Applications or information received after this date would not be considered. 

  5. Interested applicants are required to engage with Konseye: The Mentorship Network on social media; however, you can choose which platform to follow and engage with us. You can visit us on Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook, or X (formerly known as Twitter). 

  6. All programs are operated entirely by United People Global (UPG). Winners of the golden tickets are required to comply with all of UPG's rules and regulations.
