Session Description
Edna Kallon is a private-sector development specialist with over 10 years of international experience. She forged a career at the World Bank where she Bank, evaluated the institution's support for innovation and entrepreneurship in member countries and then worked within a program called Enabling the Business of Agriculture (EBA). The EBA program assessed laws and regulations in agriculture to identify actionable reforms needed to remove obstacles for farmers seeking to grow their business in 101 countries. In December 2019, Edna left the World Bank to pursue her own business venture. In addition to forging her career in private sector development, Edna is passionate about nutrition and health. To further her interest, Edna obtained a Certificate in Nutrition and Healthy Living from Cornell University.
