An ideal mentor for me is one who provides inspiration and career guidance. This is because I believe that in order for me to learn and be properly guided, it should be by a person who has done or is doing what I wish to do. And not someone who just talks about it without any experience whatsoever.
For me I would say that the mentor is the one that provides inspiration and career guidance rather than an advice on a specific issue. Actually mentorship is a journey including diverse steps toward the goal both the mentor and the mentee are planing to reach. Therefore this journey includes diverse aspects toward the goals which can not all be covered by an advice on a specific issue. For me the person providing such advice on a specific issue is an adviser and not a mentor.

For the little time I have with UPG Biashara, I need someone who can guide me on this specific journey. I have learnt a lot so far and I need someone who can help me put all of these together and package it in a way that can make sense to me and those I will be presenting to. I hope it makes sense.
