I believe I need to do both. To be honest I feel stagnant when it comes to my career😔. This is not where I saw myself at the point I am at and at my age.

Right now I am at the crossroads. I am not sure I want to pursue my current career (lecturer). I want to pursue a different one (farming). One part of me is telling me that I have not contributed enough to my profession and another is telling me to move on, Either way I would have to do both. If I pursue teaching I need to develop the existing skills and learn new ones. The world is moving and the skills I have should move with the changes in the world. I would also like to move into research and publishing in the field because it breaks my heart that we do not have a lot of literature to refer…

Hi Grace- Sounds like you are in the process of deciding your career transition and whether to follow your passion or continue along a certain path because of all the investments you've made so far. This can be a difficult and uncertain period. If it helps remember that you don't have to make this decision alone and there are no wrong or right ways.
