Hi Friends!
Welcome to another amazing week! There are moments that remind us why we do what we do, moments that ignite something deeper and leave us feeling inspired, connected, and hopeful. On the 7th and 8th of November 2025, the Konseye community experienced one of those moments.
For two unforgettable days, the Konseye Career Impact Summit brought together people from around the world. Our 257 registered attendees comprised leaders, professionals, students, dreamers, and doers who were all united by a shared desire to grow their careers and expand their possibilities.
From the very first session, the excitement was unmistakable. Our virtual rooms filled up quickly with participants joining from different countries and time zones. From Malaysia and India, where some participants stayed up until 2 am their time, to Zambia, Argentina, the United States, the UK, Nigeria, and so many more!
Each attendee came with curiosity, questions, and the courage to participate. And they didn’t just watch, they engaged. They asked thoughtful questions, shared their experiences, connected with one another in the Summit Networking Lounge, and built relationships that will carry on long after the summit ended.
So today, I'm sharing my reflections from the Konseye Career Impact Summit.
If reading through my reflections gives you FOMO feelings, don't worry - we at Team Konseye have got you!
It is still possible to gain access to ALL THE REPLAYS by visiting https://summit.konseye.org/replayaccess/ and purchasing your Replay Pass. This gives you 1 month access to relive the experience, gain the knowledge, and grow in your career!
Reflections From The Konseye Career Impact Summit
Let me start by saying: it was nothing short of extraordinary.
Over two days, I had the privilege of experiencing sessions that were insightful, inspiring, and incredibly practical. From vulnerable moments to interactive Q&A sessions, each moment was a reminder of the power of learning, human connection, and growth.
And I'm clearly not alone! The feedback from our attendees reflected the deeply positive impact the summit had on everyone. I have enjoyed reading the posts shared on LinkedIn by Maureen Opondo Read Here, Aishat Opeyemi Babatunde Read Here, Chidera Ugwu Read Here, Moria Kalonde Read Here, Farida Shittu Read Here, Israel Adesipe Read Here, Unyime Ikpeida Read Here, Welbeck Maxiline Read Here, Laiba Azeem Read Here, James Dabalen Read Here, Maryam Asghar Read Here, Oumar Saleh Read Here, James Dabalen Read Here, Grace Jelimo Read Here, Prabina Raut Read Here, Katongo Mulenga Read Here, Engr. Muhammad Adil Read Here.
Here's a snapshot of what some of our attendees said they loved and were holding onto as key takeaways from the Summit:
Oumar Saleh: “The importance of mindset, consistency, and building a clear personal vision to achieve long-term impact.”
Oluwagbamila Oluwafemi David: “That "No" isn't always the final rejection - it's a start of a new projection.”
Martha Elaine Asuncion: “My biggest takeaway from the summit is that I need to be disciplined enough to achieve the success I want and in doing that,I have to be resilient, forward thinking and impact driven.”
Farida Shittu: “My biggest takeaway from the summit is that I need to be disciplined enough to achieve the success I want and in doing that, I have to be resilient, forward thinking and impact driven.”
These reflections capture the essence of the summit, learning that goes beyond theory and instead inspires action. They also make clear the diverse topics that were covered by our speakers - from strategies to fund and scale your business to developmental tools to envision your next chapter, achieve excellence and grow as a leader regardless of the current state of your career.
My Personal Takeaways
On my end, every session offered valuable insights that are too many to list. Here are a few that stood out for me:
Pitch Perfect: Funding Your Ideas by Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, founder of Future Africa, was particularly memorable. He shared ideas that sounded “ridiculous” at first but ended up being game-changers. It was a powerful lesson in seeing potential where others might see failure.
My moderating session with Bassey Vanessa Akpanika on “From CVs to Interview Success” was engaging and interactive. The audience got the chance to ask questions about landing their dream jobs, and Bassey reminded us all that “your resume is your billboard.”
Dear Younger Me series: Each speaker brought inspiration and authenticity. Spencer Fondaumiere’s session was refreshingly unfiltered, encouraging us to “be chill” in the face of challenges. Dr Yemi Babington-Ashaye shared wisdom I hold dearly, including the quote: “However how bad things are, you can always lose your temper and make it worse.”
Overall, every session was fantastic. I enjoyed them all, learned from them all, and left the summit feeling motivated and empowered. The summit reminded me, and I hope it reminded everyone who attended, that growth is intentional, impact is possible, and learning never stops.

We owe a deep appreciation to the convener of the Summit, Dr Adejoke Babington-Ashaye, whose vision, leadership, and tireless drive powered the entire experience. Her dedication was the heartbeat of the Summit.

The dedication and teamwork shaped the summit and enriched the details behind the scenes.
Partners and Sponsors Who Made It Possible
We extend our deepest appreciation to our Bronze Sponsor, Dr Shingi Masanzu, whose generous financial support played a pivotal role in supporting the Summit’s operations and opening the doors for many participants to take part in this experience. Your contribution was invaluable.
We also express sincere gratitude to United People Global for sponsoring and supporting 20 UPG members to attend, as well as to Goodness Esom Esq for enabling some students and recent graduates to participate, and Dr Adejoké Babington-Ashaye for personally making available seats to several individuals who would otherwise not have been able to participate in the Summit. Thank you all for championing the vision and ensuring that even more people could benefit from the Summit’s opportunities and insights.
And a huge thank you to the Summit partner organizations: United People Global, Scholar Bridge Society, TEN Habitat, AfREDia, and Project Africa Now (PAN), for amplifying our message and extending our reach.
Most Importantly… Thank You to Our Attendees
To everyone who joined us for the two-day experience: thank you. Your presence, engagement, and dedication brought the summit to life. You showed up with energy and left with clarity, tools, and new connections. You made this summit meaningful.
As we move forward into a new week, may you carry the lessons with you, nurture the relationships you built, and take bold steps toward your goals.
This summit was just the beginning. And we’re excited to see where this journey leads, for you, and for the entire Konseye community.
